About C.H.L Engineering Limerick Ireland

C.H.L. opened in 1985 by John and Myra Long.

John was working in SPS/ Hilife tools for 20 years when he decided to open C.H.L. he started with one gear shapening machine producing gears for Willo pumps and also Bijur lubricating Ireland. Myra worked in Krups with a background in production and also quality control. The company grew from there and now has over 8 CNC machines and wide range of gear cutting equipment.

We have four long term employees and growing the business even further to date with a customer base of 150 ranging from medical companies to Agricultural / Automotive / Aerospace to the individual person who are looking for design help to manufacturing of their components. We produce gear boxes jigs, fixtures, prototypes & CNC batch work and also specialists tooling and one off.

We treat every company and any single person with a component to manufacture or reengineer the same. We aim as a company for a fast turnaround on any of our work with quality assured before it leaves our manufacturing floor.

With a wide range of machinery in our premises and heat treatment facilities we have control over every aspect of any components from start to finish.
